You've reached the diet foods page. A place where you can find information and recommendations for diet meal plans and other miscellaneous items such as beauty products, fitness clothing and equipment, and more. So grab your cup of coffee and relax while you browse. And, by the way, if you make a purchase after clicking on one of these links, I get a small commission which helps me to improve this online health and wellness newspaper. I appreciate your support!
These weight loss foods and plans are some of the best available online and are listed in alphabetical order. I suggest you check out each site and sign up for the one (or two) that better suits your personal lifestyle. Follow your chosen plan closely and be sure to include exercise into your daily routine. The two really do go hand-in-hand. The cost of the foods vary, but each is a darn good value for good health.
In your search for a weight loss plan, don’t look for a plan that will provide quick weight loss. That approach is not safe! And you will most likely gain the weight right back. For permanent weight loss, it is best to aim for losing a pound or two each week rather than trying to lose 10 pounds in a short amount of time.
Please note that links will leave The Health & Wellness Post and open in a new window. This allows you to check out each individual plan and come back to see more.
Abs Diet
- Get the book or DVD! This is a high-protein weight management program that allows you to nourish your body and mind, wipe out cravings, create and maintain an incredible physique, and have increased energy for life. This diet is great because you get to eat … plenty! It doesn’t tell you to skip meals, but rather shows you how to lose weight by using recipes with power foods so eating is still enjoyable. Recipes are included for easy to make meals. You can also sign up for The Abs Diet newsletter which is emailed every Monday and Friday. It includes nutrition tips, exercises, ideas to keep you motivated, healthy recipes, and answers to the toughest questions.
Anthony Robbins
- Sign up for Tony Robbins’ free newsletter. A powerful motivational speaker and dubbed the “leader called upon by leaders,” Anthony Robbins is a recognized expert in helping millions of people learn to take control of their lives physically, spiritually, financially, and emotionally. The Biggest Loser Diet
- Through Bob Harper’s guidance on “The Biggest Loser,” numerous contestants have achieved dramatic weight loss. Take the free online diet profile and you will then have the option to join as a member to their weight loss program which will provide you a personalized diet and fitness program as used on the TV show.
Chefs Diet
- Touted as “America’s Only 5 Star Diet” and founded on a belief that a diet plan should always be healthy, delicious, and convenient, the Chefs Diet has been featured in over 60 nationwide news articles. And if you like to do as the Hollywood celebrities do, this is the diet plan to take as many celebrities are members of the Chefs Diet and you can find their testimonials on the website. That’s not a big selling point for me, though, as many of the celebrities listed I do not think of as having a weight problem. Nevertheless, this weight loss plan provides good quality food with a plan for as little as $9.99 per day and I highly recommend it for staying in shape.
eDiets.com
- This one takes a lead with its award winning weight loss foods. It’s recent awards include: Epicurious.com, a premier award-winning food website, acknowledged eDiets as “the best meal delivery service” judged on flavor, nutrition, portion size, convenience, variety, and customer service. Forbe’s Magazine gave eDiets.com their “Best of the Web” award for the diet and nutrition category in both 2004 and 2005. And eDiets.com won PC Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award in 2004 and 2005. They use real food that is not frozen, powdered, or canned and their food contains no artificial flavors which is common in many diet foods. With over 2 million members, it definitely is worth checking out.
Vitalicious Natural Muffins
received a 2007 Best of Food Award for “Best Muffin”. Their Deep Chocolate is one of their top selling muffins and they even make Dark Chocolate Pomegranate VitaTops. Vitalicious has added more “vitals” to its product and here is what you get … protein, fiber, essential vitamins including thiamine, pantothenic acid, folate, and Vitamin C … all of which makes it a healthy food. There are no additives or preservatives and there are only 100 calories in a serving which, according to the Vitalicious company, you can walk off in 15 minutes. Go to Vitalicious Better-For-You Baked Goods
to see the entire selection.
